hello! as promised its the post on what happens during central B's unit cg! we are currently having unit cg till the dec camp cos we want to build relationship between the people in the unit as well as to cultivate a momentum of evangelism..glad to say that we have succeeded in doing so!! heh..we usually have our cg at the basement of esplanade, u know where all the skaters are..so sometimes those skaters are REALLY irritating but when we pray for them to go away, they really do!! i tink god has been really good in keeping that place relatively empty when we are having our cg..i mean, haf u been there on busy days? its MADNESS! u cant haf cg at all there..

this shows the guys playing soccer, actually i shld say practising soccer tricks before cg starts..it usually happens u know..give the guys a ball and u can keep them entertain for HOURS..the gurls usually have roles, or they sit down and chat before cg starts..u wouldnt want to join in with the guys and their rough playing..we also had a fairfield new believer down for cg and her name was RENTING! she came with this cresent girl called cleo..we had fun having them in cg!

this shows jarvin doing forfeit cos he won the game..how sad..LOL we played poison ball and gosh we had to run..

we also celebrated grace's bday that day and we tot of a way to surprise her..so it goes like this, there are two teams for this game..each team has to choose one to be blindfolded..the rest of the teammates had to direct the one blindfolded to a place and write JESUS ROCKS on a piece of paper..BUT of course it was juz a facade..we juz wanted grace to walk there and there would be a cake! and we can sing the happy birthday song and she would get surprised..haha i was afraid that she would know cos there were some suspicious looking things that went on..

so heres the bday gurl with her cake! haha im glad things work out fine and we wana wish grace a very happy birthday and continue growing a lot a lot in god! and central b would be praying for fairfield to break 20!
had worship, blessings and holy communion and finally we had teaching! by jem and jarvin so this is one of our 2 teachers who taught the whole grp the last 3 letters of GOD'S AIM..which was Abstianence, Intercessory and Ministerying in worship..
intently coping down notes..haha..
after cg the DTY had our usual evaluation of how cg went..and im glad to say that the quality and fun-factor of our cg has been steadily improving!! thanks for all the hard work guys!
After cg, central b did wat we did the best - strategic inaction!! which meant that we hang out with one another talk and sing songs..haha cg ended at 4 but we hung ard till 730..we rock! ended up at the esplanade at playing bridge..
actually there were more pictures but dunno wats wrong with blogger and im lazy to upload more pics for the like fifth time so im juz gonna end here..CENTRAL B LOVES GOD! and god loves us too :D

If available, the book will be given to you the following Saturday during the worship service. Each person is only entitled to borrow one book at a time and has a limited time of 2 weeks to return it. If there is no demand for the book, the due date can be extended.

Games Review

Citadel
This is probably one of the most interesting and enjoyable game of the lot. Ranging from 2 to 8 players, it is equally fun no matter how many people are in the game. Personally I prefer more players, but a game of 2 players is extremely fun and challenging as well. The aim of the game is to build 8 districts in your city. Once 8 districts have been completed, the game ends and points are counted.

At the beginning of each round, everyone secretly chooses a character in a clockwise manner. This character has special abilities that can be activated during your turn. Once everyone has selected a card, the round starts from the assassin and the race to build 8 districts begins.

This is a game of strategy and persuasion. Every round is different as you get to choose another character. Collect gold as a merchant, or get more cards as an architect, or even switch hands as a magician, but dodge the thief and the assassin or else your turn will be futile. There is just so many ways of playing this game and the element of mystery of who is who just makes the game even more exciting. A problem is that first timers usually take a long time to choose the character they want. Solution: Have the top 3 characters you want in your head, so when the cards come to you, you can choose immediately without cracking your head.

I highly recommend this game at caregroup level and from what I have seen, both guys and girls love this game.
