Aspiring to be a generation of young and radical individuals, we believe that life should be pleasurable, yet grounded in eternal and biblical principles which can benefit us. We strive to excel in every aspect of our lives, whether it is in our studies, CCA or family, in wanting to grasp the best out of life. We long to unleash the great potential in all of us to be the history makers we are all meant to be.
We are about encountering the reality and goodness of God in our ever-changing world; forging friendships that inspire, encourage and spur us on; finding the Truth and spreading the good news to the people around us; living life not for ourselves but for a Greater Cause.
United in Vision. Burning with Passion. For His Kingdom.

HELLO EVERYONE!
this is the first time i'm blogging here.
and i'm here to tell you how's central a doing. :)
we've been very HAPPENING lately, hahaha.
i shall start off with monday!
when we celebrated our new (st.marg's) care leader's birthday, PUIWAH!! :D

it was our first time succesful for surprising someone! :)
we met early and went to winnie's house.
and we cooked pancakes to surprise her.
it was rather hard, cause it kept going chao tah, HAHAHA!
and winnie had to keep stalling for time by bringing puiwah to ntuc when she went to fetch her,
because there were so many failure pancakes!
but we managed to cook a few slices of decent pancakes, even though they're not perfect. :)
HEY, it's the heart that counts okay!
then we went to hide in winnie's room when the pancakes are finally done.
it was very exciting! :D
cause we have to wait for the doraemon music to start, then go out and surprise her.
(the plan is puiwah is to come to winnie's house to watch doraemon cause puiwah LOVES doraemon! HAHA)
we had a box of presents for her too,
which is full of things which she wanted! ;D
like the letter pads and stickers she wanted so much from daiso as well as her favourite dark chocolate.
it also included a bible, which is what she always wanted as her current one was big & bulky & not NIV.
the surprise was very succesful, to the extent that she cried! :D
and and she didn't even suspect anything.
not even when she smelt pancakes! HAHA!

HAHA! doraemon pose! ;D
our pancake cooking!
PANCAKES! :D
puiwah's presents! :D
the birthday banner!
isn't liping 100% talented?
she drew such a pretty birthday banner within a very short notice!
and puiwah was a happy girl on her birthday. :)
puiwah!
thank you for being part of central a! :)
you really brought a lot of joy and laughter to the group.
and it really encourages everyone of us when we see your commitment and all that you gave to the group!
like initiating things like evangelising so that we can grow,
and also always taking the effort to really plan a GOOD care group like today's.
i'm sure that st.marg's will definitely go through a breakthrough in numbers soon!
as the vision, God gave you,
we're like a dormant volcano.
but when the right time comes, we'll erupt violently and drown st.marg's with lava (God's love)! ;)
God loves you for who you are and so do central a!
and i'm not lying,
central a is very happening these days.
we had cg today,
and i'll blog about them tomorrow. :)
(i need to get the photos first)
also, it cause, we have another event tomorrow!
which will be blogged tomorrow, HAHA.
God bless and remember to pray for breaking 170!

Games Review
Citadel
This is probably one of the most interesting and enjoyable game of the lot. Ranging from 2 to 8 players, it is equally fun no matter how many people are in the game. Personally I prefer more players, but a game of 2 players is extremely fun and challenging as well. The aim of the game is to build 8 districts in your city. Once 8 districts have been completed, the game ends and points are counted.
At the beginning of each round, everyone secretly chooses a character in a clockwise manner. This character has special abilities that can be activated during your turn. Once everyone has selected a card, the round starts from the assassin and the race to build 8 districts begins.
This is a game of strategy and persuasion. Every round is different as you get to choose another character. Collect gold as a merchant, or get more cards as an architect, or even switch hands as a magician, but dodge the thief and the assassin or else your turn will be futile. There is just so many ways of playing this game and the element of mystery of who is who just makes the game even more exciting. A problem is that first timers usually take a long time to choose the character they want. Solution: Have the top 3 characters you want in your head, so when the cards come to you, you can choose immediately without cracking your head.
I highly recommend this game at caregroup level and from what I have seen, both guys and girls love this game.
