Aspiring to be a generation of young and radical individuals, we believe that life should be pleasurable, yet grounded in eternal and biblical principles which can benefit us. We strive to excel in every aspect of our lives, whether it is in our studies, CCA or family, in wanting to grasp the best out of life. We long to unleash the great potential in all of us to be the history makers we are all meant to be.
We are about encountering the reality and goodness of God in our ever-changing world; forging friendships that inspire, encourage and spur us on; finding the Truth and spreading the good news to the people around us; living life not for ourselves but for a Greater Cause.
United in Vision. Burning with Passion. For His Kingdom.

HELLO! :)
mila is back to update you about our happening little group!
hahha, and i'm really sorry that i haven't blogged for so long..
the past three days have been held up by the calendar(nice or not? if ugly please do tell and i'll improve on the next month..) and hw.
i'm really sorry!!
i'll learn to manage my time better next time, and faithfully blog for Central. :)
anyway, on the 31st of December 2006, we had a little countdown party of four which consist of sandy, puiwah, hannah and me.
a little small, i know but it's still an event right? :D
winnie and mell was unable to come and claire wasn't able to come in the end..
we first met at PS to have our last dinner of the year.
and we saw CE's xuanz and her cg at the far hidden corner of the food court, HAHA.
after our dinner, we headed to Carrefour to get some snacks for our party. :)

and apparently, our some snacks turned out to be:

2 big bag of potato chips
1 packet of 10 party-pack twisties
1 big box of frosty's cereal
1 packet of peanuts
1 sara lee butter pound cake
1 litre of milk
9 cup noodles
1 bottle of pokka green tea
and somehow, hannah had to buy one whole tin of khong guan biscuits, HAHAHA.
believe it or not, when we left hannah's house the next day, only 4 of the cup noodles and the khong guan biscuits are left.
okay, and so CA st.marg's girls really enjoy food. :P
after our snackshopping, we went to cheong dao huay(however you spell it) before travelling to hannah's house. :)
:D
the HAPPENING people!
travelling to hannah's
we watched the countdown together with hannah's mum on channel 5,
zi-highing as though we're in a 20 people party(HAHA), and..
we wish you a happy new year,
we wish you a happy new year,
we wish you a happy new year and a..............
should all acquantance be forgot,
and never brought to minddddd~
sounds familiar? ;D
then you're few of the lucky people whom we called after midnight to present them our new year song, HAHA.
okay okay, we know we were horribly zhaoxia-ed but it's the thought that counts right? :)
and the rest of the night were spent eating and playing monopoly and more eating and playing taboo till sandy finally K.O-ed on the sofa, followed by hannah.
monopoly!
then at 6am, everyone went to hannah's room to finally get some new year's day rest.
we may only be 4 people, but it was a memorable and fun new year's eve/day, and i'm sure all of us enjoyed ourselves yea? :D
oh and please stay tuned for my another post updating you on CA's super happening cg at Mind's Cafe on the 2nd Jan! :)
i'll post it by sunday!
AND one more thing!
CA may be small, but we won't stay small.
st.marg's may be small, but we won't stay small either. :)
God bless and work hard for your studies!

Games Review
Citadel
This is probably one of the most interesting and enjoyable game of the lot. Ranging from 2 to 8 players, it is equally fun no matter how many people are in the game. Personally I prefer more players, but a game of 2 players is extremely fun and challenging as well. The aim of the game is to build 8 districts in your city. Once 8 districts have been completed, the game ends and points are counted.
At the beginning of each round, everyone secretly chooses a character in a clockwise manner. This character has special abilities that can be activated during your turn. Once everyone has selected a card, the round starts from the assassin and the race to build 8 districts begins.
This is a game of strategy and persuasion. Every round is different as you get to choose another character. Collect gold as a merchant, or get more cards as an architect, or even switch hands as a magician, but dodge the thief and the assassin or else your turn will be futile. There is just so many ways of playing this game and the element of mystery of who is who just makes the game even more exciting. A problem is that first timers usually take a long time to choose the character they want. Solution: Have the top 3 characters you want in your head, so when the cards come to you, you can choose immediately without cracking your head.
I highly recommend this game at caregroup level and from what I have seen, both guys and girls love this game.
