Aspiring to be a generation of young and radical individuals, we believe that life should be pleasurable, yet grounded in eternal and biblical principles which can benefit us. We strive to excel in every aspect of our lives, whether it is in our studies, CCA or family, in wanting to grasp the best out of life. We long to unleash the great potential in all of us to be the history makers we are all meant to be.
We are about encountering the reality and goodness of God in our ever-changing world; forging friendships that inspire, encourage and spur us on; finding the Truth and spreading the good news to the people around us; living life not for ourselves but for a Greater Cause.
United in Vision. Burning with Passion. For His Kingdom.

HELLO AGAIN! :)
i'm back to blog my promised post about CA's very happening cg at mind's cafe on the second.
ahaha, as usual we met at ps for lunch, before actually going to mind's cafe.
then after we eat, we went to mind's cafe and realised that, it's not opened yet!
it opens at 2pm and they stationed a "security guard" at the door.
and because we couldn't wait to enter, we we suggested to the "security guard"
to count down with us when its 1.59pm 50seconds, HAHAHA!
then when it's finally opened, we chiong-ed in and we got a sofa seat. :D
hurray!
then we started on our first game:

BOHNANZA; to bean or not to bean.
HAHA, it was a super funn game! :)
and also very confusing in the beginning.
but once you get the hang, wooooh!
let's let the photos do the talking. :D

half of the HAPPENING people!
however, as kelly had said, we were being too kind to each other.
well, what to do?
God's people loves one another. ;D
then because of uhm, financial difficulties, we can only stay for two hours as they charged public holiday rates that day.
and so, in order to maximise the two hours we had, we want to play as much games as possible which means we had to change our very fun game to another one. :
so we played this game, we opened different cards of different christmas ornaments.
& when we see 5 of the same christmas ornaments on the cards, we've to ring the bell, then you can collect all the cards opened.
am i making sense?
HAHA, anyway those with the most cards wins.
it was a rather violent game..
and our dear sandy was the winner!

look at the thickness of all that cards!
violent people.. :P
then we played an even more violent game!
UGLYDOLLS GAME, HAHA.
and i seriously don't understand why they call them ugly dolls,
they're super CUTE! :D
well, look at this!

anyway, the game goes that we're supposed to spread all the cards facedown on the table.
then each player takes a turn to open a card.
and if you see 3 cards of dolls of the same kind, we're supposed to grab it.
and if somebody's grabbing a card, you can snatch for it, yell: "UGLY UGLY UGLY!"
then the person will have to let go and you can have it!

HAHAHAHA, it was super funn but super violent.
after "UGLY UGLY UGLY!", we played-
JENGA!
and because the 'tower' collapsed shortly after we started, we changed to Balderdash.
which is seriously ?!?!?! cause it's all about American stuff and so we decided to stop.
there wasn't anymore time anyway, haha.
OH and because sherlyn was the one who collapse the Jenga tower, she has to do a forfeit.
and that is to -HAHA- walk around the room like a chicken.
HAHAH! :P
ohman, it was seriously a great time of bonding, and i'm sure every one had truckloads of funn, laughter and violence(HAHA). :D
i love spending time with these people.
and who doesn't?
God's people are the most funn to be with.
and it's funn with a double n. :)

back to school and CA will do our best to bring more people in. :)
we're never giving up, cause God didn't gave up on us.
and i believe we can & will double and triple, cause God believes that we can.
God bless and remember to s.o.w. on your friends/contacts!
-mila :D

Games Review
Citadel
This is probably one of the most interesting and enjoyable game of the lot. Ranging from 2 to 8 players, it is equally fun no matter how many people are in the game. Personally I prefer more players, but a game of 2 players is extremely fun and challenging as well. The aim of the game is to build 8 districts in your city. Once 8 districts have been completed, the game ends and points are counted.
At the beginning of each round, everyone secretly chooses a character in a clockwise manner. This character has special abilities that can be activated during your turn. Once everyone has selected a card, the round starts from the assassin and the race to build 8 districts begins.
This is a game of strategy and persuasion. Every round is different as you get to choose another character. Collect gold as a merchant, or get more cards as an architect, or even switch hands as a magician, but dodge the thief and the assassin or else your turn will be futile. There is just so many ways of playing this game and the element of mystery of who is who just makes the game even more exciting. A problem is that first timers usually take a long time to choose the character they want. Solution: Have the top 3 characters you want in your head, so when the cards come to you, you can choose immediately without cracking your head.
I highly recommend this game at caregroup level and from what I have seen, both guys and girls love this game.
