WARNING: IMAGE HEAVYa post from hc
KONICHIWA from the happening St Margs Caregroup, CA1. We're here to feast your eyes on photos that we took for caregroup yesterday.
But first, I will give you a brief introduction of my lovable, Hana Kimi-obsessed caregroup members.Sandy a.k.a Nezha (with ref to the photo).
Sandy is our main atmosphere maker. Her laughter is perpetually infectious and sometimes she's the reason why spurts of laughter evolve during caregroup. Plus, she makes fun of ANYTHING. Also the most giving, she's the one lending us money most of the time. Nonetheless, the one who makes things a lot more interesting.Mila a.k.a Aspiring Missionary Doctor/Cute Geek.
Mila is a great support to the group, often seen flashing her megawatt smile which cheers everyone up instantly. She's also compassionate and has a huge burden for people. She's very sociable and humble, making her very important since my group's quite egoistic (KIDDING!).Puiwah a.k.a Zi-High Careleader
Our dear CL is one whom I feel is extremely persevering and enthusiastic. She speaks at the rate of a bullet train that sometimes we can't really catch what she says. She's Kingdom-oriented and does not fear to share about her struggles. She's one who has slogged long and hard but her efforts have paid off!Nicole a.k.a The One with the Indian Accent.
Anyway, Nicole just joined us recently for caregroup and duh, she's an added joy. She loves to speak in some pseudo indian accent which sets everyone off laughing. Usually the one with all the weird ideas, she brings about fresh change and is also a good partner to Sandy's antics!Hannah Tang a.k.a The Big-Eyed Youtube-r.
Over the years, I've seen this girl's eyes grow bigger and bigger. o.0 Hannah is our silent supporter. She doesn't really make much noise but willingly becomes the laughing stock of our group thanks to Sandy. She's the blur and shy queen however, she's very serving(in sound) and obedient!Jinger a.k.a Chang-Er
Jinger is our 1-month old believer and she has been faithfully attending caregroup ever since! She has been very responsive, laughs a lot with us and is very active in the participation of the group's jokes. She often raves about Edison Chen.. which some of us do too. Heh.. still, Welcome to the family, Jinger!Mel a.k.a Cool-as-a-Cucumber
Mel left for Sound shortly after we took our pictures so we had to use this. Mel is someone whom is very calm and collected. She's also very persevering, even after been stood up by visitors countless of times. A reflective person, she's a strong pillar of support to CA1. And she also the local song-sharer in the group..Claire a.k.a Loudspeaker (written by Sandy)
With her in the group, the group never fails to be quiet, but always VERY LOUDDDD! However, the loudness has contributed much to the group! Without her, the group wouldn't be as rah-rah as it is! She should however decide to stop irritating sandy! ohwells. Central A (which includes sandy) still love her like MADD!
And some photos of us fooling around..
Well, if you haven't known, my caregroup has been very sporting to participate in CG Madness, which is the reason why we're clad as such. Our theme this year was Geeky and so I made everyone tie 1 or 2 really high ponytails, wear their specs and hold their heavy textbooks.
I hope you had a hearty laugh at our sample photos. We're not revealing our submitted one so look out for us during service! We're bent on gunning a win this time round! And lastly, our caregroup celebrated the spiritual birthdays of Jinger (1 month) and Hannah Tang (3 years). Happy Birthday, Children of God! You have come this far in the race so continue on with more fervour! No matter how old you are, you've been dear to us and God!
Do remember to send in your photo for CG Madness to cg.madness@gmail.com by tonight, 10 pm!
UPDATE!

fearless central a=)Greetings from the HC caregroup! (: It's Mia here again.
We had yusheng during caregroup on Thursday, 15 Feb. Only it wasn't made up of the usual ingredients.A week ago, instead of having our caregroup in school, we met at the playground opposite our school. And we relived our childhood days.
What else has been happening? We've been busy celebrating birthdays every week. Somehow a lot of people in our caregroup are born in Jan and Feb. More to come, even! I have failed my duty as a photographer during many of these occasions because I forgot to bring my camera to immortalize the birthday celebrations. =S
But the trusty camera was with me at service yesterday. (: CE2 at Nexus. We filled up 2 rows in the middle section.Happy CNY!

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.-2 chronicles 7:14
if anyone comes and tell you that central a is meant to be unfruitful, dont believe in him.because central a is called by God, challenged to walk on water, and on its way to breakthroughs.even when everything that was happening seemed to say that we are called to be small, even though many times we tried, many times we failed,
even though to humans, we always dont meet the quota,God didnt give up on central a.daniel met up with all of us last week,it was a meeting that started out with no clues where the problem was..the spirit stirred, and we poured out many many things that we kept to ourselves..and God revealed the answer..all of us were fearful.fearful of rejections, fearful of doing what God has called us to, fearful of failure.so fearful that it became normal not to grow, so hardened that we believed in stupif lies of the satan.so we made a pact, the coming one month will be a month of fearlessness.fearless asking, fearless trying.and last week, after decades of stagnancy,we finally saw 5 visitors..(oh was i suppse to put exclamation mark instead?)=)okay..i meant 5 visitors!!!!!if you started thinking, chey, 5 is like the norm for my group..haha then God really favours us that He made this number special to central a.yet, i know that this breakthrough didnt come without steppng out, and getting our feet wet.beneath the things that everyone see on the surface, everyone had different emotions, different heartbreaks, different discouragements.much prayers, much asking, much vulnerability.but now at least its clear to us that, God's hand is still upon usHe is still watching over us, He still has great things for central a.i guess God thinks real highly of central a, that he believed in us that we would hang on despite the fruitlessness for the past decade..and indeed, the people didnt give up.and we're stilll on our way to the challenge.i guess one thing we've got to learn is to take good care of our own spiritual lives.not that we are doing that to redeem fruits from God,but only when we're ready, then God can entrust more of His beloved into our hands.hey central a, i know that walking on water is not that easy after all.and thank God! we're still clinging on,and not giving up.
you've given much of your time, much of your courage and lots of your tears, all these God will honour.i know that when God looks at you, He smiles.because it doesnt matter how many times we fall, but how many times we pick ourselves up.thank you for joining me in doing greater things for God,and i'm proud to be serving with all of you.more prblems on the way, more growth on the way.=)
stay tuned.=)liping encouraged me with this verse!Psalm 126:5-6
5 Those who sow in tearswill reap with songs of joy.6 He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.
thanks liping!=)
